Focus question for 2D Oral presentation task: due Tuesday 21st August.

Australian identity is a broad, multi-faceted collection of ideas, attitudes and practices that is still being defined as the current generation questions old values and adapts to changing times.
As an individual Australian you should have a particular view of what it means to be an Australian.
Reflect on the stories “The Drover’s Wife” by Henry Lawson and “We Look After Our Own” by Oodgeroo Noonuccal.
Prepare a talk for your classmates, that expresses your views on how these two texts reflect past, present or evolving ideas about Australian identity. Include your personal evaluation of their validity and importance. You may refer to other texts to expand your argument.
